• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Digital Display 2010 RT

The Digital Display will not come on. Sometimes after riding for a few miles it will come on and work ok until I turn the Spyder off and it sets for an hour or so. Everyone is saying it is the Mode switch, how do I test it?

Bernie, it sounds like you should pick up a service manual. You can download one online for $20 or so I buy mine from Midwest Manuals on eBay. Good luck with your repairs

Little checking..

I would check the connections to the cluster. Sometimes the connection is loose or a pin is out of place. If any work has been done in that area you should check there for sure. The mode button would not make the screen disappear more like not move to the next screen and not let you start the engine. But as Ann stated above a manual will have some test you can do....:gaah:

:agree: The fact that it might work after a couple of miles of movement, tells me that you've got an intermittent loose connection.
