Differences in the 08 and 09 model

I am looking into picking up a Spyder in the next week... but I am wondering if there were any design issues with the 08 models (particularly the automatics) that were corrected or changed in the 09 model? Are there any sneak peaks at the 2010 model around yet?

Any changes from 08 to 09 were minimal--- and I'm not sure the SE5 (auto) was really out in 08 anyway.

My SE5 is an '08.

My SE5 - serial 123 - was originally purchased in Sept '08.

And, BTW, it's still running perfectly at almost 4000 miles with nothing but scheduled maintenence and the steering software update. I bought it used with 1000 miles in late April of this year. My 3000 miles have been a blast.

Differences in the 08 and 09 model

1 Year. That's about it.

If you look at the top of the front suspension, they added an air deflector to the cowls.

My 09 has fuel line protection, not sure if the 08s did.

My 08 SM5 has fuel line protection, but Firefly's 08 SM5 did not. I got mine in July 08 (non-PE) and his is a PE.

I thought the air deflector was only if you had the extra lights in the body?

so is my se5...they definetly were out in 08
