I am still in the early stages on determining if I am going to get a Can-Am Spyder. I originally was strongly leaning toward an RT-S. But when I finally sat on one, I did not at all like the fact that it was so large and that I was sitting so high. It seemed more like an ATV than a motorcycle.
So, after reading more reviews, I am now leaning toward an F3-S, F3-T, or F3 Limited, as you sit in these rather than on these. The F3-S seems like the best choice for me. I realize that I do need to go and take a test ride. But I was wondering if there were major differences between the three model years that are available - 2015, 2016, and 2017. Does anyone know what differences there are in these model years? I have read posts about idler wheel pulley problems, cracked frame problems, and others, and I was wondering if these were addressed in the later models. If so, it might be more economical to buy a 2016 F3-S instead of a 2015 if I had to make a bunch of modifications on the 2015 that were addressed by BRP in the 2016 model.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Wayne
