• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

When i took delivey over 9 weeks ago on my spyder i notices the die cast metal board (left side of the rt where the foot pegs are) had some chips in the paint of the metal. Apparently my dealer informed me it was a defect in the metal mold and they would communicate this to BRP, I waited 8 weeks and not one word from BRP, after the frustration and trying to get an answer from BRP i called Carlo at BRP, Immediatly he pulled up the incident from the dealer with the pictures i sent, he promised to get it taken care of asap, 24 hours later i get a message from Riva motor Sports and Carlo, its under warrantee and the part is on order, Here is my question, why is BRP so bad with there regular customer service, if it was not for this board and getting carlo's phone number i would be sending emails to BRP. ANyone else have a problem like this?

My experience was similar to yours. I had a significant issue with my BRP boat. My dealer was informed immediately and many weeks went by with no word from BRP. So I wrote a letter and sent it directly to BRP Customer Service. I got a phone call almost immediately. BRP was then all over the problem and spent at least $3,000 to have it fixed. BRP in my opinion has much better customer service than I received elsewhere but you have to get their attention first. You also have to have a clearly legitimate complaint while under warranty and be relatively calm and factual about presenting it and then follow it through to the end.
