• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Did you get your DPS done yet?

 Had mine done Mid-November but only got to do a couple of hundred miles with it, but even at that saw quite a difference in the handling.

DPS

Just had mine done at Browards Cycle in W Palm,Fl yesterday. Great service there by the way. I even had my 3,000 mile checkup.

Had a fun time riding it 30 miles on I95 in the pouring down rain with the new DPS. It responds much faster so I was very careful with the rain and all. All is well.....

No not yet for me and my daughters bike but my dealer is well aware of it but will be schedualing soon they are really !!!! big in snowmobiles. Told him the other day that i want the snowmobiles out of the showroom riding season is here (almost) how can i make sales for him for free if he has nothing to show off he does put 1 or 2 out in front of the store.

Done last Sept. right after I told my dealer to expect a recall. They put me first b/c I told them about the recall.

Having ordered a 2011 RT-S, I know the new DPS is being installed on present production. I was wondering if anyone knows when BRP changed over to the new unit?

Had mine done over the Christmas holidays... put about 400 miles on it since then as the weather warms.. on mine it is like riding a different Spyder.. a VERY GOOD different. Steering is silky smooth and precise..

Got it done last fall. Don't feel any differences for the most aprt. Guess its just a piece of mind knowing it won't cut out on me when I am going down the highway doing 85.

DPS done last November. Just washed and waxed Spydee for the 1st time. Tried a new wax to me called Pig Snot. Fantastic stuff!

I got mine done in January. I've only been able to put about 50 miles on it here in the frozen big sky state. Nicer weather should be right around the corner.

DPS

Both mine are done in time for riding season, I hope you got yours done too. Best to get it done now than when the rush starts. nojoke
I got mine done in October. I also got my Elka Shock Covers installed yesterday (3/1):2thumbs: and I am ready to roll as soon as the snow is gone and the temp increases:bowdown:.

Mine was done the week before I parked the bike for the long winter (October 29th) and I only have about 20 miles on the new DPS. Hope to be able to get the Spyder out and really try it out in the next week or so. Will let the site know how it goes.

Both of our Spyders got done within a week of each other last fall. 14 was great but the RS-S felt a little too sensitive after the swap. However, I adjusted the tire pressures down from 17lbs to 13lbs in front and that made a BIG difference. No problems with either machine.

I just got back home from having mine done at Cowtown. 7 hour trip each way. Stayed at the (restored) Wagon Wheel Motel Monday night. First thing Tuesday Morning the crew got to working on R&R the DPS, R&R 2 new front tires and align and install Ride-On, align and adjust drive belt, install HMT light, service the bike and test ride.
While I was there Bumblee and G-Man happened to stop by. It was good seeing them again.
Got a chance to talk to Len for awhile. From all that I heard about the activities planned, Spyderfest is going to be a "Happening".
Over all a very good experience with Cowtown. Thanks to the whole crew!
PS. Mrs.Pitbull Buggy is coming along fine.
