Yes sometimes going into a corner fast and really have to push the steering so hard it is a bit of a panic.
Are BRP doing this for free? Even if I am not the original owner.
Certainly takes a lot of confidence away from me.
When it is working it is great but when it fails it is scary.
Then the next corner it works when you are expecting it not to work and nearly run off the road.
It can get much worse: The power steering won't work, you put a lot of input into it to make the turn, the power steering kicks in without warning and makes you oversteer. I had this problem repeatedly and it was one fo the motivating factors in me sellign my first Soyder. Of course a couple of months later BRP admitted they had a problem and recalled them all. A LOT of the original SPyders never had this problem.
I would get that to a dealer and have it fixed at their expense. The bike is way too dangerous like it is. You can pull the fuse for the DPS and drive it without any assist which is actually safer. You only need DPS at slow speeds.
