• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

DID YOU GET SPYDER STUFF FOR XMAS?

Even though we got the Spyder in July, we decided it would be part of our Christmas this year as well we are going on a Hawaiin cruise in February to celebrate our 10 yr anniversary and 50 th birthdays, so we decided that would be our Christmas and birthday presents! And what great presents they are!:yes::clap::clap: That, our health and all the wonderful people we've met, who could ask for anything more!!

Yes we did

DocRags got her RT and she got me a set of TricLED Long distance high power LED’s. That and we had all the kids and grandkids over for the day. Tomorrow I start round six of Chemo and we hope that will be the last round.

Good Luck tomorrow. We ALL are rooting and praying for ya.

FORGOTTEN

NO Santa errrr BajaRon forgot us.... cause we were good!!

In defense of BajaRon perhaps all we did was inquire about the sway bar and thermal suit (never ordered)
But hey we could still hope he was actually Santa, I guess he is not

Best present was not Spyder related...but when we build a barn on the new 11.5 acres of land, it will be. Santa was good...with a lot of help from Nancy, he brought a new clutch disk kit and a set of the new, adjustable wind deflectors for my RT and a JVC Action Cam. Add the BajaRon swaybar and the saddlebag cargo nets I bought myself before Christmas, and the need to rebuild my clutch slave cylinder ASAP, and I have lots of work to do. Too bad the snowblower is in the way and the garage floor is too cold. It'll be there in the Spring.

Spyder stuff for Christmas

No I didn't receive any Spyder stuff for Christmas but, I have some great Spyder friends that are always there for me when I need help. And that makes for a great Christmas. Stay warm, Ride Safe & Long.

I must of been fairley good

or she was bad :opps: cuz I got the side cargo luggage, IPS with 6 spyder emblems, Stainless grills for the sides, a cool red and black can am sweatshirt, and a BRP Trailer hitch. Because I didn"t get one, I now had to tell her I bought the Garmin 660 about 5 days ago. Got a good price on it so sI'm till alive and kickin. Cant wait to start installing.:yes::yes::yes:

I GOT THE GREATEST SPYDER CHRISTMAS PRESENT OF ALL. I GOT A WONDERFUL CO-PIOLET AND RIDING PARTNER. Going Steady at 70. I CALL HER SMOKEY (SMOKIN' HOT BIKER CHICK). I must have been a good boy this year!
:congrats: Now that you've got a new Co-Pilot; how long before she earns her rating for the front seat? Then you'll REALLY be able to... "Ride in Comfort"!

spyder related - everything for my scheduled oil change - doing it tomorrow morning while the household of inlaws sleep!
Cheers.

Santa was good to me I got my first Spyder a yellow RT-S with CB, Satellite Radio, Vented Windshield and a Cell Phone interface. I love it thank you Santa!
I just wanted to say :congrats: on your new ride. My husband just got me a 2009 RS. I will get my license in the spring.

My two sons both decided to get Can-am shirts for me. This was a great idea. One son is in New Jersey and one in North Carolina. Long story short, they got me the exact same shirt. I will proudly wear both of them.

Mrs Clause worked discreetly with BajaRon, and I got me the FirstGear Thermo Suit.
Roads are still dangerous (black ice, snow and sleet today) so I've only tried it on. Had to take it right off, was getting too hot in the house.
BTW; I'm 6' about 180lbs, and the large fits just right ( good call Ron)

Can't wait to put the suit through it's paces. Now I just have to wait for safer roads.

I got a 2 week trip

My wife gave me/us a 2 week trip to Hawaii... with motorcycle rental on the big island
we leave Jan. 7th. Does that count? and oh yea new saddle bags for the Spyder color matched.
Dave
