Did this come off my Spyder?

I found this on the ground near where I park my 2021 RTL. I looked but could not find a place it might have come from. I found this probably 2 months ago thinking I would eventually figure out where it came from but no such luck.

Am I chasing a ghost and this didn’t really come off my Spyder?

Yes it did. It belongs to one of the passenger footrests. If you flip them up, you'll see where it goes. Be advised, when you flip them up, the others will probably fall out! Wouldn't hurt to add a dab of glue to try to keep them in.

I'd use a dab of RTV silicone in the groove behind the head and moisten the tip with a bit of saliva when reinstalling so it slides in smoothly.
