• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

DESS error. - help - on road

TRY THIS

So I gasesd up and now have this message.

how do I clear this and get the bike running?
If you can move the Spyder away from the gas station even 20 ft., do so .....then re-move key at least 6 inches ...... put key back in and turn it ....ON-OFF ....5 times ...QUICKLY ...... Then turn on and try and start it ..... Then get it to your / a Dealer and get it fixed ..... because this is the start and it doesn't get better ......good luck .... I sent you a PM plus an E-mail .......Mike

If you have other chipped keys attached to your Spyder key remove them.
If you have electronic devices that transmit within a couple inches of your ignition switch, ie cell phone. move it.
It may help to push it farther away from the pumps.
Keep trying. Turn off the ignition for 30 seconds. Then try again.

Shut down all the devises and remove all other car or bike keys and shut off all bluetooth sending items as well at least until you get going again. Then get that dess unit replaced. Hope your on your way already....:gaah:

Try this: turn on/off immediately" DO NOT LET THE SYSTEM SHUT DOWN" for 4/5 cycles. Start spyder. Call dealership.

I got the above info. from my dealership last year. Get the dess module replaced asap!
