Deposit and Paperwork

Hello! I put $1,000 down by credit card to a dealer in Michigan (I live in Illiinois). He faxed me a 1 page paper that just shows me the deposit that I made.

My question is.......What kind of paperwork did YOU GUYS get when you gave your down payment, and ordered your spyder?

Thanks a lot for showing me that paperwork. I called the dealer, and they faxed me a copy for my order. Now I would like to know how long it took for YOU to get your "BRP authorization number" for your specific model. Thanks again for your help.

Hey, Lamont, Your paperwork shows that you received a free Spyder jacket. Am I missing out on something, or should I ask my dealer about this? Heck, if a free jacket is being offered, I want to make sure I get mine!

If you're on the first production run order you should get a free jacket or a free Spyder and a $17,000 jacket. ;D

Or maybe it is a free bike, free jacket and a very expensive but vague, map of the US/Canada with a suspicious credit-card looking thing that contains random numbers that mean nothing? Just to be safe, I went ahead and bought the Spyder (baseball) cap. Now (although the bike still has not been delivered) I actually own something Spyder-ish.

The dealership just got back to me about a free jacket coming with my order for the spyder SE5. Here it is:

"No, they are not offering the free spyder jacket with this promotion, that promotion ended back in the early fall. Regards, Brett Cosich General Manager LAKE EFFECT POWERSPORTS"

Well, I guess I have to actually buy one!
