• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I don't blame you if you don't believe me but this RT killed 2 deer and wounded another. My buddy was headed home from Spyderquest around noon on Sat. around Stony Creek, NY and 8-10 deer came screaming across the road right in front of him. He was doing about 45-50 mph and centerpunched the first two and the third one ran into the passenger grab handle area. He didn't get a scratch and after he found his right mirror in the ditch, and reattached the left one that was hanging by the wire, he drove it 40 or so miles home. He said it handled the same as before he hit the deer. His buddy on the Harley was about 30 feet ahead of him and never saw them, he knows he wouldn't have made out nearly as well if he had hit them. The most noticeable damage is the scratched up mirror that flew off, both front fenders are skewed to one side, and there are tufts of deer hair here and there.

I am very happy to read the end result of your report. Deer are just a tought problem. Glad your friend is ok.

Glad to hear the accident was not any worse. The outcome was not the usual. Recommend to buy a few lottery tickets soon.

Amazing..!!

He and the spyder getting out with minor bumps and scratches is amazing. Glad it turned out this way cause we have seen so much worse with only one deer. Sure would be nice if the freeway animal crossing would workout...

Wow. Thanks for sharing. I am glad he is ok, though I would think he is going to be awfully sore when the shock wears off.

Glad the rider is OK and this says a lot for the Spyder. Just lost an acquaintance on a Harley hitting a deer. They are out there so Ride alert and Careful.

LUCKY

your friend is very lucky, my wife and I hit a deer on fathers day and it did 6000 dollars of damage to our spyder and put a deep bruise on my wife's leg. I guess we were lucky too!
