• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Debating about having the BBQ at the Gatlinburg event.

AWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE BOXERS!!!!!!! SO CUTE!! We rescue Boxers and have three of our own. I have a "Got Boxer?" decal on my Spyder.

If the BBQ is on Thursday we will not be able to make it. We are heading back to California that morning, but I'll catch you all earlier in the week if I can.

Lamont we had a great time last year right up to the time we had to leave in a hurry ! but we will make up for it me and carol will bring up some free give away prizes for you to hand out.(like event shirts :ohyea:)

Count me in Lamont. I am willing to travel ALL THE WAY from my house to your house just to lend a hand. :yes:

Let's see, I can Google the map for the trip just in case my Garmin quits on me. Check the weather so I don't get caught, pack everything I need the night before and leave around 4am so I can get there on time.

Okay Ron, before you set out on this arduous quest, make sure you are carrying lots of water so you can stay hydrated. Pull over and rest a bit when you can. (Iron butt riders will often find a roadside picnic table for naps.)
You also might want to consider investing in an auxiliary fuel cell, just to be on the safe side. :2thumbs:

I was just wondering why do you need pack:dontknow: your grill ,ice chest and other things are over lamonts any way:D

Thanks for the advise! I had the extra water on my check list but that's a good idea about the additional fuel cell...:thumbup:

Trouble is, I can't get that kind of thing local which means I'd have to order it. What is the chances that it would come UPS? :(

I enjoyed your BBQ last year, however, this year I have a conflict. I will be going to California with the Harley riders at the time of the Gatlinburg event (I am of mixed blood).

If I were going to the BBQ, I would ask you to put a WiFi access point on the patio so I could log-in to Spyderlovers.com with my netbook. I need to check in several times a day in order to not miss anything. :2thumbs:
 
Lamont...I am really looking forward to meeting everyone in a social setting at the BBQ.

I will be there all week so please, if I can be of any help at all, I'd be glad to do whatever it is you need.
