• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Dealer Recommendation-Western MA

Shameless dealer plug:

I brought the Spyder down to the dealer where I bought old PE #2929 over two years ago. After the last two visits for DPS update and DPS unit replacement, now the steering had a ton of play in it.

I have often wrote that it's frustrating when it's not clear if Amaintenance/repair/warranty issue is with BRP, with the dealer, or due to lack of communication between BRP and the dealer.

I am so pleased with the work on the Spyder done by Alan at Pittsfield Lawn & Tractor in Pittsfield in western Massachusetts, right near the NY border.

He fixed the loose steering, made recommendations regarding the valve lash adjustment, took care of the belt tension, changed the oil (and left my green filter!) for a reasonable price, all in one day, while communicating promptly by email.

If you are looking to buy a Spyder (see Wally) or if you are looking for a new repair place in the area, I recommend Alan at PLT.

Thanks again, Alan!
