• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

IMO any dealer that won't/can't answer all of your questions isn't someone that you want to give money to and then have to depend on for service down the road.

I would also check on BRP website.

Also I wonder about having put on the sales contract;
getting first service free
dealer know that spyder is primary transportation- thus when I call would expect that it would get in within 48 hours
if needed overnight I get a loaner vehicle during repairs.
Considering no dealer repair within 140 miles.

My local dealer snubbed me too. I had good "out the door" prices and feedback from dealers nearly 100 miles away before I bought my RS from a forum member. Even had a written offer on a used RT from one salesman, went back to buy and the price went up $600 from the sales manager...:hun:. Check with other dealers!

To put it in perspective . . . .

. . . . dealers probably get 'factory incentives' on the sale of a Spyder ( car/truck dealers do ).

Customer Promotions are focused on the customer, but in the case of a discount, if you don't get it - effectively they do.

Yup, check out the BRP website and check other dealers. Test rides don't cost anything, so use them to get a feel for the machine.

I would recommend being willing to ride a little to get a better deal. So call around to non local dealers to see what incentives they are offering. The worst will happen is a comparision of prices with your local dealer(s). If you are looking for a 2014 or older then I would recommend buying used. Cheapest quoted dealer was going to charge me 3k more than what I paid for it from a private seller.

Good Luck on your purchase

it sounds like that dealer wants a signed blank check.... I for one would not give him one.... I suggest to shop around.. if you get in a hurry .. it could cost you thousands.. take you time ... there are no shortage of Spyders...
