Hi All,
I think I have just about had it with my Spyder dealer Mission Motorsports in Irvine.
I asked them to quote me the BRP extended warranty. They said they are not qualified to sell the BRP extended warranty. I asked why not and he shrugged his shoulders and said 'I don't know but we have Joe Blow's warranty we can sell you and it covers the exact same things as the BRP warranty plus you get free towing unlike BRP's."
I told him the BRP warranty does have free towing and explained that the warranty he showed me does not cover things like vehicle security systems, power steering, wheel speed sensors, attitude sensors, steering angle sensors etc....I even showed him the clause stating that if it is not listed under "covered items" then it will not be considered a warranty item.
His response was "We have never had any problems with this before." I believe him, the dealer is not the one left with the bills for uncovered items and I told him so.
So how can they sell the Spyder, do warranty work but is unqualified to sell the extended warranty? I just don't get it.:dontknow:
On top of that it takes them over 2 weeks to even look at the Spyder if it has problems.:banghead:
