• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

DAYRUNNER PUCKS!!!!

Thank you for providing some needed detail here.

Here is the best I can put into words the pattern of light they make.

The pattern is a very wide flood type to best try to describe it I would say a "curb to curb" type of effect yet also quite good for seeing ahead down the road too.

It really is hard to put into words, and digital cameras are really worthless trying to show this pattern at night. Without you being there and being able to really see how it looks before these lights are turned on a picture of them really means almost nothing as we tried to photo it.

We have a shot of the Sun Spot series of lights on our web site and these are the same series of LEDS as the Day Runner Pucks use they just are larger.

The pictures there still don't do the product justice, but you can kind of get the idea of the kind of light these LEDs throw out.

Really, I have 4 of these pucks as the only headlights I have on my Suntrike, and they work so much better than did the 35 watt halogens that I can't tell you.

Just ask the people on here who have them how they like them.

I have yet to see anybody not be quick to say if they don't like something they bought, and so far we have not heard one person who is not happy with these lights.

I did a review of these under MY MODs and just to say again I really love them. I've actually driven at night with them just to see if its possible and it is but don't recommend it, not quite the reach of your headlights but great as driving lights. Photos on my post....

Strange this is all we were asking for and this company has no problem with it.

That sir is not a picture of any kind of LED light whatsoever.

Do you really know anything about LED's? (like you seem to want us to believe you do) If you do,than you know LED light is not a full spectrum light, and is a single wavelenght light. Inasmuch a digital camera will not reproduce it with any accuracy at all.

HID's and incandescents produce full spectrum light, and inasmuch will photograph much clearer than single wavelength LED lights do.

But then you already knew that didn't you. :sour:

Like we said, every product is not for everybody, this one is clearly not for you. :agree:

Oh wait! It can't be for you anyway, because you don't even own a Spyder now do you. :gaah:

Please go flame somebody else and leave us alone. nojoke

Street Magic product's rep speaks for it's self in making items that perform as good or better than advertised. We're not here to play "stump the light guy" with armchair quarterbacks who's own statements shows their lack of true understanding of how any of this really works.

Again, please go flame somebody else. :helpsmilie:

Sounds like someone's having a bad day....
:roflblack::agree:
Hope it get's better!
I'm coming down w/ a cold - 8 hours after leaving the Dr.s office:gaah:
Plus my :spyder:has been in the shop for a week now & they are just now looking at it, so I've been cranky.

BUT... I was curious about the questions asked and am glad there were some answers.

I just got a set of the Triple play ( Thanks Lannie) so I'll have to ask what upgrades should be next lighting wise when I get some more $$$ to put towards the :spyder:.

I have my foglights aimed quite a bit lower that my normal headlights and have found that they light the area just in front and off to the sides of the Spyder real well. Seems like the dayrunners will do the same thing. I still need to find a place on the RT for a set of them. They will be great for illuminating the turns up in the mountains.

:chill: Don't worry about it Magicman. Most of us do stand behind you and will keep ordering most anything that you come up with.

Thanks for the kind words.

Most times I try to just let it all go. But somedays it just makes me want to pull my hair out. :gaah:

OH wait I don't have any hair.

Maybe that's where it all went. :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:

So true. I am one very satisfied customer and am still looking for a place to fit these on the RT..LOL
I am one of the first to post when I purchase something from any shop or vendor as to whether I am satisfied or not. Magicman and the ESI gang are batting 100%

I don't think anyone was demeaning ESI products(I know I wasn't; I have a lot of them and love them) I(we) just wanted some additional information. I really don't think that is any reason to get upset.

You're right.

However as you know, sometimes it's not what is asked but in how it's asked that can really set your hair on end.

I am as human as anybody, and sometimes it gets the better of me.

Your right as I found out trying to reproduce what I was seeing but couldn't. The best I could do was this one photo-no headlights on, and even this shot appears dimmer than what I saw. Forgot to mention, these are your Dayrunners....

This picture took countless tries to get even close, and still does not do the lights justice. But this is as close as we could get and is not re-touched or photo shopped in any way.

This shot is of Day Runner Pucks only no headlights.

Also without seeing the "before" look as to how dark this area was, it still can't even begin to give you the true idea of how much light there is coming from these pucks.
