SpyderFest2013 The NEW Adventure-Chap 21-Thursday-Vendor Villiage-Hot times in da sun
Did I mention, this was the one clear, sunny & HOT day that we had :hun: if not, it was  And now we're finding ourselves around mid-day with the blazing hot sun beating down on us:shocked: so I kept trying to duck in under the cover of vendor tents whenever possible, to make sure the lil ham-bone :joke: (Teddy) wasn't get'n over heated too badly. I kept his watering bowl with us, and offered him fresh water often, and as soon as a passerby would see me flip his bowl out, they just had to know what it was & where I got it. I looked thru our albums, but didn't really see a good pic of it in use, or I'd post one here so you could see, cause really, it is a pretty trick little watering device made for pets. Its basically your typical water jug with a screw on top that has a pull out nipple which really isn't anything special, but the special part is the attached neoprene bowl that forms a perfect fit around the jug when not needed, but when you need a bowl to put the dogs water in, you just take the neoprene bowl and bend it backwards away from the jug, turning it inside out, and it automatically forms into a bowl, in which you squeeze the jug and water fills the bowl from the nipple
Once the dog is done drinking from the bowl, you dump any remaining water that you squeezed from the jug to the bowl out on the ground, then take and bend the neoprene bowl back around the jug and it once again form fits itself around the jug  Since the dog never touches the nipple, and the water is never reused, the human can safely drink from the same jug as well
Really a nifty little set-up, cause in years past, we'd always have the unattached jug and bowl, and I swear, inadvertantly every time, I'd end up always leaving the bowl behind somewhere and then have to cup my hand into a bowl, and thats never fun for Teddy to have to try and drink out of:cus: I think the container is made by Lixit & its called the Thirsty Dog water container. I took the effort and googled it for any of you that may be interested, and here's a link and a pic of the jug with the bowl collapsed onto the jug, but they don't show a pic with the bowl dispensed out for the water so that the dog can drink, and at first, as some of the reviews on Amazon state, its hard to deploy, but once you do it a few times and get the hang of it, it becomes second nature and I think like us, most users would really enjoy it

We buy most of our Teddy supplies at our local StrasseDog here in Covington, and ours was $9.99 so Amazon has a good price at only being $6.50 with free shipping. Hmmmmmmm, if I were smart, and had the extra funds, I'd buy a bunch at that price and store them in Teddy's camper for while we're on road-trips, cause just about every stop someone see's us using it, and wants to know where they can get one for their pet. I could probably sell them for $12 bucks easily and make a little $$ here and there. But in all reality, I do well to just be able to keep up with Teddy, less alone worrying about inventory, stock and other stuff - lol :lecturef_smilie::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:

who knew telling one little story would lead to so many other stories and take so dang long
