There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Dave & Teds Most Excellent Adventures 2013

No doubt, your 100% correct

Hang in there, and Dave... Better to have everything working on the sled and solid before you come out to Spyderfest. I really don't think you're the only one biting nails and being a bit antsy about things. :D:eek::eek: Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk HD

But .............................. biting my tongue:banghead: :sour:

How do you like the Nexus 7? I thought seriously about getting one and if it had a rear camera, I probably would have. I like our Tab 7 pretty well & its great to have while road-trip'n on the Spyder, especially with having a camera incorporated in it, makes documenting our road-trips pretty easy. Sadly tho, ours is the original version & they chose not to make its Operating System upgradeable, to either Ice Cream Sandwich or the newer Jelly Bean, so the UI isn't horrible but could be better, but the lag is what really bothers me. Have thought about selling this one and getting the Tab2 7" as it does have the rear camera (tho sans flash) and the much smoother Jelly Bean Operating System.

Update with Hand Surgery Specialist

 He looked over the results from the EMG & noted the findings of Mild Carpal Tunnal in Right wrist

:dontknow: Then declared, "That still doesn't explain why your having issues with only your index finger & elbow" :hun:

:banghead: "I don't know what to do for you. I think you need a second opinion" :helpsmilie:

:( "Talk to the nurse, she can set you an appointment with another specialist in the office"

:dontknow: Asked the nurse, "Well, you'll be a new patient for the Dr, so the next available apt is the end of April

:banghead: WHAT!!! Are you frig'n serious ??? :chill:

PS................. still no word from the shop :(

I know you are frustrated, Dave, but you have to learn to roll with the punches a little better. It is not unheard of for the response to a problem to be different than the norm. I have experinced much the same thing...with either fewer or more things affected. Neurology and orthopedics are not the same as the electrical and mechanical workings of the Spyder...every patient is different. Be patient, hopefully a new outlook can find an answer.

I'll be praying for you Dave. There is no worse feeling than numbness in your hands, especially if it is while you are riding your spyder. I am hoping to meet up with you at one event or another this season.

Just sayin'............

Dave .... spydercowboy and I (actually, more spydercowboy) feel your pain. His right ankle was shattered in a motorcycle accident coming back from a PGR mission January 2012. The ankle specialist that did the initial repair over two surgeries left the area in August 2012 and Larry (aka spydercowboy) has been under the care of another ortho in the same office. Problem is he's NOT an ankle specialist and finally admitted after two additional surgeries to remove broken hardware that he had done all he knew to do. So earlier this month, he decided to send us to an ankle specialist .... but there are none in the immediate area (choice is 90 minutes away in Denton, TX or 3 1/2 hours away in Oklahoma City). Saw this new (to us) doc yesterday after opting for the closer drive .... he is fairly confident that the reason Larry is still in so much pain is his leg has not healed -- a non-union. So, he's basically walking around on a broken leg and that's why it hurts so much ... IT HAS TAKEN MONTHS TO GET TO THIS POINT ... and that's just frustrating as all h:cus:! He's ordered all the right tests to confirm his diagnosis and we have an appointment in a couple of weeks to review the results, then come up with a plan (most likely bone graft with some kind of bone stimulator to facilitate growth).

Bottom line, I know this is frustrating and you don't want to wait any longer for answers ... but, patience and getting the RIGHT answer is often more important than the time it takes to get that answer. You want the correct diagnosis and treatment, sometimes it just takes longer than seems necessary to get there.

Best Regards .... Ann

PS. Daisy (dachsund) and Abby (deer chihuahua) send their best wishes along too!

Dave, I have just been reading your adventures for the first time and have to say I feel for you my brother. To be honest doctors usually don't have a clue. Medicine is hit and miss for them. Most times they look at the results of labs rather than actually listening to the patient. I have been a nurse for nearly 20 years and do not consider myself the best. My strengths are that I actually listen to what my patients and family say. Also I have common sense which is lacking in most people today. Here in Houston we have the largest medical center in the world with every kind of specialist known. If you ever get the chance to see a doctor here know you have a place to stay and transportation. Wish you luck my friend.

All Quiet -- Perhaps Good News?

Hmmmmm .... Dave and Teddy seem unusually quiet today. Hope that means Dave is "off to the dealer" to pick up the "sled":pray:!

Please, please ... be good news about the :spyder2: and about Dave, and Teddy!

Best Regards .... Ann

an envelope stuffed into the side of our entry gate, addressed to me, with no postage on it & marked in red, PERSONAL & CONFIDENTIAL. Ive had enough drama :( I don't need more :sour:

Dave ....Ya can't just show us a pic. of your Ryde in the garage and say nothin'....not fair!!
Little Ted will be pleased though! Great news!!

:2thumbs::clap: I saw the "Sled" there yesterday when I picked mine up and wondered if maybe it was done as it was basking in the sun on the deck next to mine. It was nice, wife approves of the new lights, says I'm much easier to see from behind now. Spent the day with Chris (spyder Rider) and Tom (Hog driver) and got absolutely nothing done that I was supposed to do, but it's going to rain tomorrow and Monday so that'll get done then. Hope to meet on the rode along the way,
Ride safe,

I like it overall, but the addition of a rear camera would definitely make it better. I use it mostly for reading, a few games, and Spyderlovers via TapaTalk2 when I'm not around the laptop. Pretty trouble-free, but I find myself using the phone for pictures, then transferring to laptop to post them or save them more often than not....the bigger the screen, the better for my aging eyes!
