Dave I was thinking about using that smoked square vent mounted over Teddy with the ram mounts as you had suggested ?? Maybe make a wood frame inside it to mount the ram mount balls and attach that to the backrest and the top of the trunk??
Oh, gotcha, my mistake. I have most the materials now for the Wind-shield mod, & just ordered the rest of the RAM Mounts that I think I'll need, so we'll give this a try first & if it doesn't work out, we'll definately look into your suggestion further, thanks again  Oh, BTW, Teddy sends Leah some lick'ns
Some time ago, someone suggested the "Chillybuddy" cooling vest. I purchased one for Jenny and it does an excellent job in protecting her skin and helps to keep her cool. The reflective material keeps her from getting sun damage but the cooling feature is only good for about an hour. I have just ordered a cooling jacket from "Keepdoggiesafe.com", which should protect her skin and is supposed to last 5 to 10 hrs of cooling. I would think either of these could take care of Teddy's sun problem as well as keep him cool.:dontknow: We are spending the summer in Cincinatti at the County Campground at Steamboat & Nine Mile Rd. so hopefully we will ride with your group while we are there. We'll be at Steamboat 7/1 for three months, look forward to seeing you and Teddy again.:clap:
Thanks so much for the tips, we'll definately be looking into these as well. I also sent you a PM with my cell #, if you need any info about the local area or anything else, please don't hesitate to call. And once you get in, we'll definately be more than happy to show you around :2thumbs:
This last fill up, we only averaged 22.3 MPGs
But thats cause we were having fun tear'n up the twisties
We stopped by the Cincy Riverfront & found some cool shade
Under one of the bridges going over the Ohio river leading into KY
black paint will do wanders for that little problem..:thumbup:Have I said how much I :firstplace:LOVE:firstplace: Teds Red Sled lately:hun: I hardly got any sleep last night as we were deludged with thunderstorms overnight. Wish I could find the architect that designed my condo & invite him/her to spend the night in the Master Bedroom while we're experencing one of these thunderstorms & then see if they would still think its a good idea to place not only one, but two skylights directly over the bed:gaah: Hard rain, and it sounds like someones constantly knocking at the door, less alone the thunder clacks and then the stimulation from the lightning strikes:gaah: and yes, I have one of those sleeping masks & also earplugs, but they only help so much:banghead: Just a bad design, in my opinion. :banghead:
life is rough living in a riverfront condo with fantastic views, and skylights in the master bedroom. that must really suck.:roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack: did i mention the hot blonde neighbors ?:yikes::yikes::yikes::clap::clap: try not to get too STIMULATED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Good idea  but seeing as its a condo & I need to think of resale value, instead of paint, I used removable non-transparent adhesive cabinet liners & it does block out most of the light. Came up with that idea when I was working midnights, and trying to sleep from 11am-6pm:shocked: wasn't happen'n with two skylights of sun shining down on us, that's for sure:sour: But even with most the light blocked out, we still get all the loud sound of the heavy rain directly overhead durring thunderstorms, and even with ear plugs in its still :gaah:black paint will do wanders for that little problem..
