• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

dash clock/thermometer

Has anybody installed a clock/thermometer where the analog gauges are. Those numbers are hard to focus on the display and during the day, nobody can read them. Too bad BRP doesn't give us the option of a larger font for us aging boomers.

Brian there was a guy at SITR last year who put magnifying strips at the top and bottom of his display. He said he got them at one of the big office supply stores

Did you look at them? What did you think did they seem to work. Sounds like an easy solution if it works. I know I am going to paint the top half of my 2012 RT's handle bar flat black because the glare off the silver makes much of the screen unreadable.

clock thermometer

A readable clock and thermometer would be nice. I wish there were a compass in the display.
Has anyone found a compass and mount that they like?

I used a decent external thermometer to check the one on the bike and it was within 1 degree of difference. One less thing I have to buy.
