I'd much rather see real riders like we had with the Spyder Five.

And If you want a direct comparison,,
I'd bet a lot of money that Faran directly sold a lot more Spyders than Danica!!!!!

:agree: BRP almost seems to want to cater to the "celebrity market". :shocked:

They could be fishing in a MUCH Bigger Pond; by stressing the ability to, "set your worries on the curb, and point your nose into the breezes."

I'd back you on that bet... Faran's a whole lot more attractive, and she brought Spyders to folks like us! :2thumbs:

i agree 100%. the riders themselves sell way more spyders than these national ads ever will. the common folk on the spyder means more to most of us than some celebrity!:2thumbs:

You said a mouthful there Steve. I 100% agree with you that it is regular folks like us here that sell the roadster. I would also agree that Faran was a great spokesperson for the Spyder.

I've got a buddy who knows Fred Rau very well (in fact he and I are going over to Americade and we'll see him there). So when my "problem" struck and I was being forced to give up my BMW 2 wheelers, it was Fred Rau who talked to me and got me interested in the Spyder. So, in a way, I know and trust Fred Rau not only from Spyders, but because I've followed his work for years. I've never met either of the two celebs they're using now (in fact I didn't even know who Messier was), so why should I trust them? I'm sure you guys can say the same about others in the Spyder 5 group. They were in the trenches with us :2thumbs: and were a tremendous sales force for Can Am.
