There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

They kept us pretty much in the dark until Sep-Oct of 2011 before announcing colors on the 2012's. I am guessing the "official" stuff will be similar this year. Don't know of any "spies" that can get information before then. BRP seems to be pretty tight lipped on anything to do with next years models.

Colors are interesting on these Spyders. Who would have thought a Lava Brown with Tan seat for only LTD's? And only other choice is a fine looking Pearl White in the LTD. some of the others that are flashy look cool too.
It may likely depend on sales of the colors. The Lava Brown/Tan exuded classy to me, so I bought one sight unseen, as our local dealer only had one wrapped in a crate. I traveled 450 miles before I saw it in person. I loved it! I do like the chrome bling, and a couple other farkles will be added, like the high mount brake light from ESI, but otherwise, I don't want to over do it.
In the short few days I've had it, many comments on the bike and color. I'm delighted with it.
