• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Curiosity question - when did you get your Spyder & how many miles have you done to date?

1st Spyder... 2010 RT A&C purchased November 2010. Traded in at 12000 miles
2nd Spyder... 2011 RS-S Purchased July 2011. 11000 miles as of today
3rd Spyder... 2013 RT-S Purchased February 2013. 5500 miles as of today.

2010 RS SE5 purchased new in May 2011 with 3 miles on the ODO. Now has 15,253 miles.

Which tells me I need to find more time to ride... frakkin' job :banghead: :doorag:

About 1 year old today. Only 11,000 miles. I'm 10 lbs heavier from the 60 mile around trip to the Ice Cream store  I need to get out more but am ahead of the 19,500 miles in 26 months on my '09 GS before I sold it.

2012 RT Limited purchased june 2012 new - traded it in to Pitbull Powersports April 2013 11,000 miles

2013 RT Basic Purchased April 2013 New at Pitbull Power Sports currently 4,300 miles

Both bikes with basically no problems.

Happy Spyder Ryder Here.

For the sake of trying to let interested buyers to the question as what is the mileage that spyder owner put on their spyder.. I honestly could not answer that question, due to I ride probably more than most and less than some. So I need help in coming up with an answer the question.

What was the month and year that you acquired your spyder and what is odometer reading in terms of total miles, as of this day or post.
If you have owned more than one spyder, Please list the latest one only.
However if you are a two spyder family, then each can be listed.

Thank you in advance for this information.

Question is ( repeat ) What was the month and year that you acquired your spyder and what is odometer reading in terms of total miles, as of this day or post.

I acquired this spyder in April 2012 and I have 22,500 miles.

Bought the ST Limited May 25, 2013 new..6 miles, today 1098

2012 RSS-se5 / Brought home April 6th 2012 @ 10:21 am. As of 5:45am arriving at work this morning 16,525.7

Not to shabby considering I haven't ridden for a seven month period due to having surgery on my left arm and right knee. Counting my blessings because I'm back on the road!!

Oct 2011 - 8700 miles on the Spyder.
Today - 36754.12 miles on the Spyder.

It is now my only vehicle and main transportation, therefore it is very much a daily driver.

I've seen that some of us mention that they use their Spyder as a "Daily Driver" :2thumbs:
Questions:
1. How many of us actually do use the bike in that manner?
2. How many of use use it just for fun runs, or and as an additional choice of vehicle to take on an errand?
3. How many of us pretty much park our "Cages", and use the Spyder as our main "Battle-Axe" for any and all trips that we can?
