• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Curiosity question - when did you get your Spyder & how many miles have you done to date?

Ride Forrest Ride!
For the sake of trying to let interested buyers to the question as what is the mileage that spyder owner put on their spyder.. I honestly could not answer that question, due to I ride probably more than most and less than some. So I need help in coming up with an answer the question.

What was the month and year that you acquired your spyder and what is odometer reading in terms of total miles, as of this day or post.
If you have owned more than one spyder, Please list the latest one only.
However if you are a two spyder family, then each can be listed.

Thank you in advance for this information.

Question is ( repeat ) What was the month and year that you acquired your spyder and what is odometer reading in terms of total miles, as of this day or post.

I acquired this spyder in April 2012 and I have 22,500 miles.

Spyder number one 2008 GS purchased April 2009 with 23 miles currently only 7k but adding up fast now with the addition of Spyder number two 2013 RT-L purchased May 2013 with 6 miles currently 2,500

I acquired my 2012 RT Spyder 7 July 2012.
Mileage today is 14840.By 7th July 1 year old will be just over 15000 miles.

Bought my 2011 RT-S SM5 June 20th 2013 with 459 miles
Today 898 miles.

Ask me again 4 months from now as I am sure I will have racked up a lot more. Commuting to work every day is 62 miles round trip.

2010 RT-S Acquired (new) in April 2010. 32,750 miles today.

2011 RT A&C Acquired (new) in July 2012. 7,530 miles today.

No riding between the months of October and March. That gives us six riding months per year.

I have PE 2275 GS

I took delivery of my 2008 GS on April 9, 2008 and have 85,973 miles on it. We ride a lot during warm weather and even some of the colder months and little to none between December and March becasue of the salt on our roads.;)

Here's the question...

We got our RS Aug 2012 new. We currently have 8,500 miles wrinkle free. But here is the question. Have seen a good amount of cluster problems. For one when replaced you lose your mileage. For some reason they have no way of programming the miles into the new one. Also heard that some revert to "0" after around 66,000. This may contribute to so many used spyders with low mileage. When used ones are bought they may have more miles than showing. (why put the turn signal control in the cluster?) just thinking out loud..:dontknow:

Now that's what I like to hear.
