• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Made business trip from Jacksonville to Pensacola last week and without the support from the following businesses/people it would have been more difficult than it turned out to be. Some may consider this advertising, I consider it people at businesses that go the extra mile to help out :spyder:ryders like us.

1) Open Road Leathers - Jacksonville, Fl - Provided great set up of Cortech baggage that fit and carried all I needed (especially the cold weather gear) and oh yes, the Frogg Toggs (seems if I'm ryding, it's raining).:2thumbs:

2) Kewlmetal - Great fitting, easy to install highway peg brackets delivered quickly so I could readjust my seating position (and my partner on the trip on another bike said I did a LOT of adjusting).:2thumbs:

3) V-Twin Station - Orange Park, Fl - Overnight delivery of the Kury ISO grips I waited until the last minute to put on to replace those vibrating PE original grips. Made the ride a lot better.:2thumbs:

4) Tallahassee Powersports - Tallahassee, Fl - Shortly after leaving home on Monday the Spyder developed a severe steering pull,:yikes: no open shops around on Monday except for North Jax who told me the Spyder tech was off but would be happy to make an appt for me on Tuesday :gaah:( I had to be in class at 0730 Tues am) but I made it to Pensacola. May not have been the best decision due to the nature of the problem but I've made trips with mechanical problems before. On the return, the problem continually got worse. Found TP and pulled in to their shop. :helpsmilie:Deon and Shadrack took me and the Spyder right in (had to be back at work Friday am). Shadrack got no fault codes but did find where the steering was a few degrees out and made the adjustment. Although it didn't totally remedy the problem, the ryde home and my confidence were made better.

Thanks guys, I really do appreciate your efforts.

So the end of my advertising will end with this," :spyder: Ryders, support those that support us."

Next time you make it to Pensacola, let me know. Also know that Pensacola Motorsports is a great Spyder dealer if you need service.

Thanks for sharing this. It is good to hear about shops and vendors that actually take good care of their customers.
