• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Crush washer & O ring sizes for oil change

I would guess that it is a typo, should have been an extra m - 65.2mm

Nevermind, I got it now. The numbers aren't written in the same order as the washers and I was reading too fast. For the reading-challenged like me, the O-ring is:

2.6 mm Thick
60 mm Inside Diameter
65.2 mm Outside Diameter

Crush washer One ID14.5 x OD17.7 x 1.2 thick
Crush washer Two ID12.4 x OD17.7 x 1.2 thick

If anyone has pictures of the OEM crush washers, I'd love to see them. I just went to the dealer to buy some and they are not the same outside diameter. I think they're using alternate parts and this has contributed to the leak I wrote about in another thread.

The washers came out of a bin and were $1.90 each. The O-rings came in a marked bag and were $4.62 each.

I purchased some from the dealer yesterday, and I can post pictures when I get home this evening.
I paid $1.99 each for the crush, and $.90 each for the o.

Finally had...

enough of the dealers charging me 3.95 each for the copper gaskets and 7.95 for the "O" ring for the oil filter. Did my homework and found a manufacturer with the correct dies on the shelf for the gaskets. I ordered a bulk supply for my parts cabinet. I also found the correct, identical, "O" rings for both the oil filters, primary for SM5 and HCM for SE5. I already have an infinite supply of them in my parts cabinet.

However, I am still researching the large exhaust collector gasket but I am on a trail for this part.

I didn't forget about pictures, I just couldn't find where my husband put the darn things when I got home (he works nights). I will still try to get a close up for you.
