Cruise Control w/ RT 622

Going on first trip with the trailer RT 622. I have always used the cruise on long trips without trailer but read not to use when pulling trailer. Why is that?

It could be a case of CYA on Brp's part. I have 18000 on my RTS of which I pulled a trailer for about 1000 of those miles, mostly with using the CC. 1 trip to Cuba and 1 trip to Tennessee. No adverse effects on the bike, yet.

I have used it for thousands of miles with no problems. Car manufacturers give the same warning. If you use it, you assume the risk.

Just make sure you don't lug the motor and you'll be fine.

I use cruise with my trailer most of the time. I don't use it in the rain or in the mountains.
