• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anyone ever painted an RT-622? Good results? What paint/prep etc?

What would you think about painting a RT-622 trailer? Has anyone here ever tried it? How were the results?
Any recommendations on what kind of preparation is necessary? What kind of paint would you use?

My current Spyder is a 2020 RT Limited that I bought in March of 2020. My three previous Spyders were all pearl white as was my RT622 trailer. As soon as a bought my 2020 I took my trailer to a body shop and had it painted to match my chalk Spyder. They computer matched my paint.

I think it turned out pretty nice.

What paint you use depends on the material. The professionals at a paint shop should know what type paint to use. I never painted a Spyder trailer, but I have painted boats and kayaks. For any material that needs to flex, the paint must also flex or it will peel. Don't even remember now what paint type it was. I asked a friend who painted a lot of car and motorcycle parts and he gave me the name of the paint type to use on the canoes and kayaks. Most likely find an answer to paint type on the web now, if you know the material to be painted.
