• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Cross Country Trip

So this summer I am in a position where I can take a couple weeks vacation. Any thoughts on whether it would be wise to try and do a cross country trip by myself? I live in Maine but I haven't traveled very much and would love to make a road trip to California. Am I asking for trouble and is two weeks even enough?

I just did 9000+ by myself but you would be pushing it to go coast to coast to coast in two weeks unless all you did was drive.

2 weeks is not enough...

My first ryde was off the showroom floor in Conway, NH to my home in San Ramon, CA. I did it in 5 days, but did nothing but ryde and sleep. I wish I had taken my time, and had someone with me to share the trip. I'm thinking about going CA to NH and will plan for at least 3 weeks for the round trip.

Plan on the Gatlinbug, TN trip.. you can do a week there and still take a week round trip. Lots of country.

Wouldn't you want to take some time to stop and smell the roses? SO MUCH to see that way, rushing through wouldn't be doing yourself justice.

Basically I'm hearing what I figured I would. I think that Spyders in the Smokies might be a better choice. I also have some family in Missouri and Indiana I could visit.
