There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. I am having a Problem that all the Forums are calling creeping in 1st gear, when i stop at a light i have to oh so slightly Keep my foot on the brake to stop from rolling, I have 23000 Km on my bike and am wondering if this is a known Problem or if there is a known fix for it or even if it may just be normal i am not complaining or any Thing, and am even considering an Addition to my collection once the F3 Comes out in Germany, but would hate to try and save on the wrong end and cause more damage at the same time, I also read that for some others that a simple 9 Dollar spring Change was able to correct the Problem.

also I have not had this Problem since owning my machine is has just accured reccently over maybe the last 2-2.5 thousand km

Hello

Remember the SE5 in first gear is in gear, so if you do not keep your foot on the brake it will creep forward or move or roll forward. If you put the transmission in neutral and on a flat level surface the spyder might not move.
I have a 2010 Rt SE5 and always keep my foot on the brake when stopped and the spyder is in gear. I have to do the same when driving my car in gear stopped at a red light. also do not give the spyder throttle when in gear and when your foot is on the brake

I hope this helps

thanks for the answer and as an Auto tech i understand this as well with automatic transmissions, just as i was reading around it seems like a lot of People are finding this unnormal but i never really saw any concrete answers, so i figured i would ask the way i did of course if it is normal i can accept it just dont wanna shoot so much Money that i paid for this Thing and it is acceptionally higher here in Germany than in the USA to the curb hope you can understand.
but on the second Hand i did not do it now 20000 km Long and just the last few thousand it became visible just like what feels like a slip avery now and then when shifting from 1st to 2nd gear and like i said only every now and then so i dont want to believe the clutch could have something 98 procent of the time this Thing is great and runns like a bat outa h ll and theres that 2 procent where you could just hang it up

and then i read something about a spring fix that must have been very cheap

so please understand i am just asking the few questions that have been riding my head for some time now never really wanted to complain because the Ratio good to bad is so high in favor for the good

Could this be an indication that your hydraulic line that connects the clutch lever to the rest of the system needs servicing? Try flushing the system, and replacing the fluid.

Curious..!!

hows your oil..?? You may need to check your level and condition of your oil. Don't go over recommended oil and filters changes...watch your rpms if you have any vaccum leaks rpms can clime. Should be 1350/1400 rpms...

I have a 2011 RS-S SE5 and never had this happen. It could be the engine idle could be to fast about 2,000 rpms or you may have burnt or warped clutch disks and dragging at idle. Maybe used the wrong typed of oil in the engine. The clutch is dirty and the dirt built up on the plates. It could be in the Hydraulic Control Module, that also control the clutch. These are some things that can give this problem.

Hi, I wouldn't overthink this deal. Would you take your foot off the brake of your CAR with automatic transmission ? mm...
My 2014 RTS SE6 has plenty of torque, even at idle, to occasionally propel me forward a bit. On the safety side, when I sit an an intersection, for example, I will have my brakes FIRMLY engaged. This is a spillover from my 2 wheeler days and having seen a bike shoved into an active intersection by an vehicle behind him. Just a gentle push was all it took.

Hello

Since you have an SE5 check your engine oil level as this will affect shifting. I always make sure oil level is at full mark on dip stick also make sure engine is up to temperature before checking oil level.

The SE5 transmission is not a automatic transmission. It's a standard transmission with paddle shifting that is controlled three computers modules that controls hydraulic activators and input from sensors. It was not an overthink but a overview. It doesn't work like a CAR AUTO TRANSMISSION. mm... That's why BRP calls a semi automatic transmission, but reality it's Semi Automatic Shifting Standard Transmission. I have a workshop manual, you should buy one and read it. Did you read your Operator's Guide? mm...

I had an 09 RS that had the same issue. There was a bulletin for a ground wire fix.
