• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Here is picture of our Toyota prius. Wife was in an accident tonight when another car ran a stop sign and hit her. Both vehicles are totaled. The wife is bruised and beat up, but is home, thank God. I'm sure tomorrow will be tough.

Glad she is not badly hurt!! I really hope she recovers quickly & gets over the mental trauma too - it's never nice to be run into! :p

That said, it's usually the second day after the prang that the deep bruises, knocks, aches & pains, etc really make themselves felt!! First day after is usually bad enough, but the body still tends to be suffering from a little shock then & the swelling etc usually hasn't fully established - but it certainly will have by the second day after & any 'protective' shock will have worn off! :yikes:

Prayers for your wife's quick recovery.:pray: I also hope the occupants of the other car are OK, and that they throw the book at them.

Today and tomorrow will be the roughest: she's been running on adrenaline, and that's about to stop.
But she's going to be okay, and she'll be able to deal with the aches and pains.

Truly glad to hear your wife is going to be ok. But look on the bright side, now you will have insurance money to buy her something far better than a prius!

Prayers

For your wife's quick recovery. Yep she will be mighty sore for a few days....but grateful only car is totaled.

Best wishes

Hope your whole family recovers completly from the accident. I trust the other party was cited and insured (we hope).

Sorry to hear about this. I have been in two serious accidents and it is not fun. She will have aches and pains she doesn't even know about yet.

Just glad all seems to be well and that it was the Prius and not the Spyder. I will keep her in my thoughts.

Thank you all !! Today she is very sore, especially where the seat belt got her. She is black and blue in that area. Spent today going to get stuff out of the car. My neighbor has been great lending us his truck to get things done. My only other vehicle is the Canam. The neighbor took me to pick her up. I don't think she could have ridden the Canam

Have you been contacted by the other party's insurance company yet? Find out how to go about getting a rental car included in this. After all: you're now stuck without a car!

Hope your wife is feeling better soon! Like Bob mentioned, definitely get the insurance company to cover a rental for you. Not sure how long they'll cover for a 'total' but generally for a repair, it's until you get your car back.

Good luck!

Thanks Bob, the other insurance is not being cooperative, they say the other party has not given a statement. She has been cited for failure to give right of way. We have an attorney, since they are a problem.
