• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Crankcase venting

Has anyone considered using a 3/8 in. inline fuel filter in the vent tube between the crankcase and the air box? The filter would catch the oil vapors while riding and still vent the crankcase to the air box and the caught oil would drain back to the crankcase when the engine wasn't running.

That is a good idea...

I wonder how often you would need to change that paper filter? Would the heat in that area plus the oil cause the paper to break into little particles and drain back too? With a spun glass filter you probably not have that problem though.

paper breakdown?

I don't want to start a debate, but is the paper in a fuel filter any different from the paper in a oil filter, I'm not a engineer, just a dumb farmer.
Thanks for the answers, I've been a:spyder2: owner for about 3 weeks and enjoy it and this sight very much.

Sometimes so called "Dumb Farmers" are more clever than Engineers.
Don't ask how I know that.:D
