Cramp Buster

Best $11.00 I ever spent. Like a poor mans cruise control. Eliminates wrist pain. Wish I would of got one sooner.

I got one right after I bought my Spyder -- like the next week. I put it on and the next time I rode, I actually accelerated backward out of my driveway so fast and had to brake so hard the engine died. Only time I've killed my SE so far. I didn't know it was possible to kill a semi auto like that.

I took it off and haven't been brave enough to put it back on yet. I've heard they're great, but apparently you have to be smarter than I am to use it!:dontknow:

I have had mine on for over 6 months now. I also like it enough to keep turning down my wife's attempts to buy me a throttle locking system. She doesn't care too much for the way I vary my speed based on the music I am listening to, or the scenery, while I am in the lead.

:roflblack: A little of both actually. She uses a ThrottleMeister. There are times when I look in my rear view and she is quite a ways back, so I back it down some and allow her to catch up. Then other times she starts crawling up my tailpipe.

I have found it works much better, and I stand a better chance of keeping out of trouble with the LEOs, if she knows where we are going and I let her lead. :thumbup: Although I have also been known to drop back quite a ways just so I can do 100 to catch back up again.

I have both a Crampbuster and a Throttlemeister.
Use the Crampbuster in the hills and the Throttlemeister on the flat freeways.:doorag:

TM for me only...works great on highways...you shouldn't be resting your hands on twisties anyway...

I am not sure where you put it on your handlebar grip.

I put mine on the far outside end of the handle. When I am doing slow speed maneuvers I keep my hand inside on the grip so I don't inadvertently press down on the CrampBuster and do something unfortunate!

Love the crampbuster! I use it everywhere, twistys, flatland, never any problems of any kind. Removes wrist pain. Personally (just me), I would never trust any thing that locks the throttle on.

Google up crampbuster. Lots of info. Get one at any motorcycle shop. Tell them it's for 7/8 inch handlebars.

Love the crampbuster! I use it everywhere, twistys, flatland, never any problems of any kind. Removes wrist pain. Personally (just me), I would never trust any thing that locks the throttle on.

If you install/look at the TM design, it's made well and NEVER fully locks your throttle so that you cannot manually move it...you always have control over it...it's nice to not have to keep the hand on the throttle on the highway sometimes, esp. if the road is gently undulating or flat.

I have a throttlemeister and a cramp buster for my rs too. The last ride we took my hand was going numb even while using the tm. So I got the cramp buster and went out again a week later, no issues. I love it!

I started with the CrampBuster and loved it -- strangely, it stopped all hand cramping. Now, I have added the ThrottleMeister and the few hand issues I had on long rides are now history!
