• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Cramp Buster- works

Does anyone here use the cramp buster? I had it for my trip and really liked it. I let my buddy use it for awhile and thats when I realized that I was really using it. If you order one, you gotta get the oversized one.

I bough one today base in your recommendation. I will give a shot and report back.:2thumbs:

This is the very thing that I worry about. Course for a measily few dollars I should just buy the thing and try it. We're not talking beaucoup bucks here.

Do people actually rotate the crampbuster forward clockwise to reposition? The website mentions rotating it all the way around to find a new lower position. That sounds a bit tricky to do underway. So do you eventually find a position that works and leave the thing alone??

I really do need to buy one of these things and just try it out. :gaah:

I've been using the large Cramp Buster (CB4) for over a year now. I'm so used to it that riding without it just feels wrong.

Same for me.

I put one on each side.

Sometimes just lean over and ride using my elbows.

:agree: Scotty, I tried one a number of years ago on my Kawasaki Concours and I had a heck of a time controlling the throttle. Found myself giving the bike gas when I had no intention of doing so. I took it off before I did something really embarrassing!
So there are at least two of us. :D

Just read ataDude's post. I guess I am the third, not the second one.

I feel so much more normal now! :D Thanks for the support.

I'm left handed and in my right mind ;), but my problem with the wide crampbuster is it cuts into the middle of my palm and I haven't been able to find the long skinny one at a local dealer. I'm using a throttle rocker now and my only complaint with that is it slips down alot, so I am always having to push it back up.

Basically, once it's set in the proper position for you, your don't mess with it unless it gets bumped out of position.

One of my customers gave me one yesterday. He needed the oversize one for his harley and had bought a regular one and couldnt use it. I have the BRP aftermarket grips, (which are great) and the regular one works excellent. I rode about 200 miles today and really liked this cheap (free for me) little add on. I just bought a throttle lock a few days ago and now I might not put it on.

For long trips, I use both the throttle lock and the Crampbuster. There are just some times when I really need to take my hand off the throttle for 30 seconds or so and the Crampbuster doesn't do anything for that.
