• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Could These Guys Have Driven Any Slower?

I wonder how much these drivers were paid to leave their right feet at home? :dontknow:

Talk about frustrating... :gaah:

Reminds me of the second time we got to go on the race track at Barber’s Museum and weren’t allowed to pass anyone. There was a lady from FL that was tooling along in the middle of the track holding most of the folks back. :banghead: Talk about frustrating!

Looks like a parade lap rather than a lap in anger. But, fun track though, Laguna Seca. Diving down the corkscrew is one of my fondest memories.

Well....

The video does say " 2019 GT40 Gulf Heratige on the race track" said nothing about racing... :roflblack:

Even at 72 years of age, I could not have done that!

I would have HAD to pass them up. Even if I had been told, "no passing." After all, what are they gonna do? Tell me I will never be permitted to do that ride again? Why would I care? I'VE HAD MY THRILL!

I think that if they passed around a bucket: the fans would have tossed a lot of money in; to see those three cars get down to it!
(Especially since one of them is priceless...)

Yes, the Corkscrew is great fun. I have a series of down hill turns in my neighborhood that reminds me very much of that famous turn 9.

given that it was probably not their car and they were told "don't break it", they did OK.
I suspect it was to show off the near 500,000 dollar car and not tear it up or risk a crash
