• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Cost of Dealer Repairs?? Warranty vs Owner

As I wait for the issue of determining whether the sprocket is going to be covered under the extended warranty or not, my question is if it is not covered under warranty, is there a difference between the cost of warranty repairs and when it is coming out of your own pocket. I have been told that at an auto body shops, the cost, if being paid by the insurance company is be bust out retail, but if it is not being covered by insurance there is room to negotiate. Is there any negotiating room for the repairs? We are talking $2600 to replace the sprocket and the shaft.

If it's going to be covered as a warranty repair I don't care how much (or little) it costs. I just get curious when it's my wallet that is going to be opening up for it! I would imagine that the factory tells the dealer how much they pay for something under warranty, since they know what's involved in the repair.
If we have to pay the bill, I'm guessing that there might be some room, but that's between you and the dealership... Good luck!
