• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Corbin Trunkbox for ST

VADale

New member
Has anyone added one of these to their ST yet? I'm looking to get one of these soon but I wanted to get some expert opinions first. My wife would like to have a backrest and I'm not happy with the BRP option. If anyone has made this addition please post some photos and/or give any advise or opinions you may have concerning this item. I intend to install it myself. "gulp"

The Corbin trunk box is a very nice addition to the :spyder2:. I had one on the GS and one on the RS. They are not cheap--but the fit, finish, and paintjob are worth it all. They will also give you the passenger backrest you are looking for.

If you go for it, please post some pictures.

Thanks akspyderman!

Thank you for the pics akspyderman!! I figured Corbin would do a good job with the paint matching. Did you do the installs yourself?

I did the installs of the trunk box and the fairings myself. I am not mechanically inclined so found them to be a job. If you do, make sure you are carefull with tools etc. as you can scratch that beautiful, shiney, finish.
