• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Corbin seats

I've put a Corbin seat on every bike I've owned since the late 80's - loved every one... bought my Spyder's seat used - broken in by someone else.. :D

Did I say mine were heated??? :2thumbs:

According to corbin - it takes 2000 miles to brake in the seat.
I have about 600 on mine and it is already very comfortable much more so than the stock seat. I think you will like it.

I have never owned a Corbin seat that wasn't akin to a brick tied to my butt. They do not seem to work well when you have no natural padding of your own. Everybody's caboose is different, and every seat feels different to each of us...stock, BRP comfort seat, Corbin, Russell, or others. If you can, ask to sit on somebody else's acessory before you buy. Try a few, if you can. Talk to someone with a similar build and weight for advice, too. At very least I recommend you ride a few weeks on the stock seat, including at least a couple of longer trips (two tanks of gas or more at a stretch) before you decide to buy something else.

Just had my Corbin seats installed yesterday by my wonderful dealer. I had my Corbin seats ordered back in August, but it took till December 9th. to arrive at the dealer. On that day the temperature was 12 degrees where I live and below zero if you count the wind chill. There was no way I was going to drive 60 miles each way to have them installed. My good dealer Ray C's extreme sports of Lapeer Michigan sent their toy hauler to my house to pick up my beloved Spyder and install the seats free of charge. They also installed my battery tende pigtail directly to the battery. My bike was delivered back the next day (yesterday) , with my new beautiful and perfect Corbin saddels and a back rest with a yellow glove box. I was so excited to try them out today as the temperature was about 27 this morning. Took my spyder for a short ryde around neighbrhood and it already feels like night and day. I feel fully contained and more safe and in control on my bike now espically with the backrest. It is going to be a pleasure. Unfortunately I am going to have to wait till spring to really enjoy my new Corbins.
