• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Corbin seat

I finally got a chance to go for a ride with the new Corbin seat installed on my RT. I ordered the seat with the "Lamonster cut". I rode for a little over an hour and the seat feels very comfortable. With the factory seat my butt would start to hurt after an hour or so of riding. I installed the seat with the help of a friend. It helps to have another pair of hands when removing the old seat and installing the new seat. The new seat has electric heaters, I ran the wire in a plastic wire loom to give it more protection. I am very satisfied with the new seat.

Had the Corbin on my RS and have it on my RTS, Lamonsters cut . Give the seat and your seat about 1,000 miles and it will get way better .

I agree - I have the same seat on my RT, with the driver's backrest. Love it. If you have hot or bad weather (and have to ride in it), I recommend a BeadRider - helps keep you cool and dry...

:congrats: on the new Corbin. I have 40K miles combined on two different Corbin seats. They are a pretty good product.

and if you aren't ready for the big bucks seat, at least get the BeadRider! It makes a real difference used with the stock seat in warm weather.

I am still going to send the pictures Bob--nothing changed there. Have not worked on the BKWDO yet. Maybe this weekend.

Glad to hear you had a chance to try the seat out and it works for you. By the way, there is a Spyder meet on April 15th, they are meeting at Lifestyles Honda if you are interested. I hope to attend, my father passed away shortly after I left your place so its been busy for the last few weeks but I think I am over the hump now so I plan on joining the ride.

Take care,

Randy
