• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Corbin rocks!

Bit the bullet today and had my new Corbin seat installed. My wife and I left Tampa about 7:30 this morning and rode across Florida to the east coast and went to the Corbin showroom in Ormand Beach. Met Sergio, my sales rep who I ordered through, and he had everything ready to go. I hadn't pre-ordered the backrest since I wanted to see the options. We talked the pros and cons of the various backrests and I order the smaller, solid backrest.

It took him less than an hour to install the seat, and we were on our way back to Tampa by 12:30.

My first impression was that the seat was hard, just like I remember the old Corbin's being - sort of like sitting on 2x4's. But an hour or so into the ride I noticed that I liked the way it felt. A little wider than the stock seat, it fit me better, and I guess hard is good, because the seat was the most comfortable motorcycle seat I'd ever sat on.

My wife and I are looking forward to some serious traveling, and the Corbin is going to make our trips much more pleasurable.

:agree: Great choice!:congrats:

One drawback to the Corbin seat that we've noticed,
we don't have to stop all the time to stretch & rest our backsides
. . . so we're not getting many pictures. :roflblack: :roflblack:

Same here, installed my Corbin yesterday and man what a difference! Had Corbins before on Harley's and knew what a difference it could make. Since you ride two up, try the Corbin trunkrest, she will thank you.;)

My wife was with me when we had the seat installed and said she didn't want to spend the extra $300 for her backrest, so we opted out. I'm surprised that you find it made that much difference. I can always go back and get it later.

Can't wait...and question about tan leather?

Will be picking up my Blue RT on Friday at the Hollister shop. They've been using it to create the arm rests. My wife and I will get fitted with all the pieces and we'll take a several day ride back along the California coast. We'll post pictures of the seats, etc.

Question - has anyone installed tan/brown colored leather seats and found them difficult to keep clean?
