There appears to be impact holes in the ground to the right where the targeting laser was pointed for the last shots. Some of the comments below the video mention the gun that the guy had was a fake one. Also the female officer appeared to be shooting, I counted some 12 shots.

The shooting was May 31. I now understand why it was posted by the police. I thought the shooting just happened.

IMO before they left the bathroom, they should have patted him down. He could have pulled it in the restaurant (had it been real) and shot the cop in front, before the one in back could have reacted.

If you read the comments, someone mentions and explains The Terry Search. So, it appears they had a choice as to whether or not to frisk the suspect. As was mentioned in another comment, had they frisked him, he'd still be alive.
