Cooling fan relay

First I should say this is my first post not sure if I have it right. I have a 2015 RT se6 .Right after I purchased it the cooling fans quit working.I have done some troubleshooting and I have come to the conclusion that relayR3 in right fuse box is Bad. Dealer did not have one I have been to all the parts stores with no luck found it online but min order 50.00 one list for 2.89. Is this one of the general causes for fan failure? Thanks for any additional info.

Try another power sports dealer that has BRP products. It's a common relay across product lines.

Spyder Relay
From another Spyder owner:

MasterPro Ignition part BWD REF: R3110 (SMP REF: RY-232) is exactly the same as the relay in our Spyder. This relay can be purchased at Murray’s. We compared the relay in the Spyder with the BWD: R3110. They are identical…including the schematic drawing, as well as the amperage at each terminal/prong.


Rodger at NordRide in Mount Morris, MI says the OEM relay we got at Murray’s is good. He also said that BRP sells this part for about $10.00. Now whether this price is to the dealers or the consumer, I don’t know. With that said, Murray’s sells it for around $9.00.
