• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

coolant/anifreeze question

I thought I was low on coolant. Purchased Prestone 50/50 mix, which says it's safe for aluminum. Once the engine cooled, I pulled the coolant container cap and flashed a light in; all was fine. So, I didn't add the Prestone. My question is, is there anything wrong with using the Prestone 50/50 mix when needed?

I really don't think so. I have sifin out some of the antifreeze and replace with water witter this helps keep the water cooler. Check it out. Most auto supply stores carry it or something like it.

I think that is what you are supposed to use. 50/50 antifreeze and distilled water, rated for aluminum engines.
