• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Cool video from Fred Rau

Absolutely incredible video, Lamont. That guy really caught a lot of behind the scenes stuff!

I especially liked seeing the clay model of the RT, along with the many prototypes.

Very cool.

His wife, Cherrie, has her first pillion report up there now.

Saw the Valcourt video earlier today. Fun to see the early Spyder prototypes!

:clap:Thanks for posting this video. It was neat to see the early stages of the spyder and the way it has developed into the new RT.

I now see where the name "Spyder" came from. I agree that "Scorpion" would perhaps better fit the look of our ride. However, that shot of the silver prototype on the floor with the 4 projector beam lights clustered up top and close together does indeed look like spyder eyes on top of a head.

That was awesome.

I really the first prototype they showed. Did anybody notice on the first prototype built that it has a hand brake?

:doorag:

Great video--- Fred does a great job--- you can tell he really has a great time and is geeked about the RT.

Any chance he's coming to Gatlinburg???

His blog is awesome too!
