• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Contemplating buying a Spyder - any reliability, power, and buyer's remorse issues?

I went to test drive a used 2021 RTL. I got about a mile from the place and got caught in a downpour. I went back and offered them $1000 less than they were asking and they accepted. Was a one owner bike and the dealer had all the service records. I came from HD touring bikes. One Road King, one Ultra, and one Street Glide. It takes getting used to as it’s not a two wheeler. That was August 19th of this year and I have now 4000 miles on it. Upgraded the sway bar and front shocks as well as a custom Dynojet tune and cat delete pipe. Zero regrets and actually I am looking forward to the slightly extended season on three wheels over two! 😃
How long did it take you to get used to the steering, assuming you have? I don't think a Spyder will extend my riding season. I'm usually done riding when the temp dips below 50 degrees. I hate riding in the cold...

Not long. It’s twitchy at first. Don’t death grip the bars. Use them like armrests. I love riding in the cold weather. If you haven’t updated the front anti sway and end links (stock links are plastic) you need to do that. It helps immensely
