CONSOLE PROTECTOR

i have a hole in my top ''y'' panel from the original owner, where there was a switch mounted. i put a button plug in it. to those of you with a console protector, do you think it would cover this? riker, any thoughts?

I have a tank bag on my GS and it covers that area.

There are many "tank" protectors on the market that would do the job, just be sure of the measurements before you order. :thumbup:

Also, just went out and measured from the console to the edge ( roughly where I think your hole is )... it is about an inch to 1 1/8.

i also have a hole in about the same place, but i put it there. i have a speaker system on handle bars for my mp3 player. i wired up a volume control and installed it about the same place. it works perfect for me even with insulated leather gloves on. it is a very handy spot while driving, and i like convenience. maybe use for something and not cover up?

I got it at a local bicycle shop. Wasn't picky, only one I found that would work with the RS handlebar. But, if I was to pick, it would have been a first choice Works great and low profile...
