My wife and I are going to a 1.5 car arrangement which means I get to consider getting a Spyder. I've always thought they seemed great when they were announced but I never got the chance to really consider buying one.
I'm thinking of getting a 2012 RT-S SE5 that is still brand new from a local dealer. Price seems reasonable ($18,999) but of course it may be lacking some of the improvements from the 13 and 14 models.
I'm considering this a "starter" Spyder so not dropping 30K on a brand new model is appealing.
Is it a good idea to buy a 2012 or should I just suck it up and drop the $$$ on the 2014?
