• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I'm confused about the 600 mile service they said they had to adjust the valves after breaking the motor in. Doesn't the rotax have hydraulic lifters I've had several new vehicles and have never adjusted valves except on solid lifter motors?

The Rotax does not have hydraulic lifters. The valves do need to be adjusted periodically. Not at 600 miles, though? The old schedule was at 6,000 then every 12,000, but that has recently been delayed and extended to 18,000 (?) miles.

Another hint. The valve adjustment adds about $600 to your service bill. I hope you do not have a dealer that is trying to take advantage of you.
