• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Composure

 That has GOT to be the most stressful thing that I have ever seen... :yikes:
The big Silverback looked like it was right out of horror movie...

Could you keep yours?

#!
If you have ever been around my wife, then you know I could keep my composure...............:joke: she never reads these boards so I am safe unless I run for public office:roflblack: cool video Jerbear!

Really cool. Seemed likt they thought he was one of them. I think i would have to just sit there for a while after that.

notice he didn't move any or stand up when they left. might of been something in his pants that wouldn't allow him to get up "0n camera"!:roflblack::roflblack::roflblack: great video jerbear!:roflblack:

LOVE IT!!!

This was absolutely amazing. Bruiser and I watched it together and would have loved to be the man sitting there. Just watching the interaction of the babies especially with the man, and the silverback overseeing and being the "Dad". Thanks for posting this JerBear!!

I would love to trade places with him. As BB will attest to, we are both animal lovers. She with her favorites, Polar Bears, dolphins and whales, me with my big cats, apes and snakes. Gorillas are social animals, if you notice though, the man made no eye contact with the silver back, that is a sign of respect. Had he made eye contact that woud have been a challenge to the big guy. The young apes were curious about the human and wanted to get his scent, see what group he was from. A learning experience for them. Thanks for the video Bro, I'll have to watch it again.

Ask BB about the time I was petting the black leopard at a zoo in England.

:yikes: I would not want to be anywhere NEAR that chair or path when those big boys came 'a-calling! :yikes:

The guy did do the right thing though  He kept his head down and avoided any and all eye contact with them! :2thumbs:

That was quite a video. Okay to watch, but I know I would not have the composure to remain that calm and actually enjoy the experience.

Thank you for sharing the video.

I can tell you this; had I been in that chair, they never could have caught me when I jumped and ran... the footing behind me would have been too... slippery! :roflblack:

I've been really close to the Rock of Gibraltar monkeys, who are not shy in the least. If you don't give them treats fast enough they will come up to you and start going through your pockets. Guess I got too close to a mother and her baby and was chased for a while by other monkeys. The video of it was pretty funny to watch, but it wasn't funny at the time. They are very strong. No way I could sit there like in the video.

(Bruiser) - Ask BB about the time I was petting the black leopard at a zoo in England.

We were at an animal reserve in England and there were many different animals there. It was rather open, as far as being able to get close to some of the animals. As we stood and watched the big cats, Bruiser couldn't stand it any longer and started petting the leopard. He still has all fingers, toes, and no chunks were taken out of him. The leopard actually enjoyed it and was purring. What a sound to hear!!
