Just FYI: When a dealer finally got the display firmware up dated last fall on the Asphalt Grey 2018 one that I bought in January 2024, it took BUD2 and the BUD2 like USB cable to finally do it and show miles to empty on the left center for the display. Nash in Mesa tried a couple times and Ride Now in Chandler tried many times before their BMW tech said try my BMW USB cable. BUD2 cable seems to be rolled or something compared to the BUD3 cable which was the only Can Am BUD3 cable they had. NASH had updated my(now gone) Champaign one back in 2021 or so along with my riding buddy Jerry's white. My other new to me 2018 Asphalt Grey which I will see for the first time in 2 weeks has the new display firmware already "I got pictures "so it really happen"!!
